Sad email from Turweston Aerodrome today: "It is with regret that the organisers of the annual Turweston Wings & Wheels with Airshow have decided not to hold this event in 2012. We would like to thank everyone for their support in previous years and express our apologies to all those who will be disappointed.

What a shame - it was one of our favorites, and we hope it isn't the end of this unique local show.

We have added Penrite Copper Eze grease to our greases page, and a link to their Classic Vehicle Application guide can be found here. It is a very impressive attempt to guide owners of older vehicles with lubrication recommendations, but be warned that it's not 100% accurate, or of course 100% complete. Do call us on 01296-488927 to discuss specific application questions on any vehicle, however obscure!

We had a great time at the Silverstone Classic this weekend. They were celebrating the E-Type's 50th anniversary, so for once it wasn't a daft question to start a conversation with the words "did you come in an E-Type?"
